It is possible to participate in the CALL FOR PAPERS for the national workshop on social innovation organised by the National Competence Centre for Social Innovation until Thursday 31 October 2024.
The workshop, to be held on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 December 2024 at the Auditorium of the Department of Economic Sciences of the University of Bologna, Piazza Scaravilli 2, Bologna, is sponsored by the GRINS (Growing Resilient, Inclusive and Sustainable) Foundation, with a focus on the research activities of Spoke 8, coordinated by the University of Catania.
The workshop aims to provide an informal opportunity for researchers, practitioners and policy makers to meet and exchange ideas in order to strengthen the national community engaged in the topic of social innovation. Following a multidisciplinary approach, which approaches social innovation from different disciplinary and thematic perspectives (from economics to sociology, from management to urban regeneration, from design to public policy studies, among others), the workshop will host presentations of research works also related to projects and case studies. The workshop aims to stimulate discussion on the relevance of social innovation research for public policies in Italy and Europe.
Interested authors are invited to submit an abstract (in English) of no more than 600 words (Word/Pdf file), specifying title, authors and thematic area of reference.
Abstracts should be sent by 31/10/2024 to either Giulio Ecchia (giulio.ecchia@unibo.it) or Patrizia Saroglia (saroglia@fondazionebrodolini.eu).
Acceptance of papers will be communicated to authors by 10/11/2024. Presentations will be 15/20 minutes in length and therefore at least 22 papers are expected. There will also be space for poster presentations (mainly for PhD students and/or postgraduate students).
