The City Of Turin, with the support of the Turin Committee of the New European Bauhaus, wrote the first version of the Manifesto Torino New European Bauhaus.
The Manifesto was created as the first form of local expression of the guiding principles of the “New European Bauhaus: Inclusion, Sustainability and Beauty” initiative and was developed through a series of meetings, held within Open Incet’s Policy Lab, which involved the initiating actors, some members of civil society and the third sector.
The outcome of the multi-stage journey will lead to the development of the final version of the Manifesto, which aims to inspire interventions and initiatives on the ground within the framework of the New European Bauhaus.
“The New European Bauhaus, or European Bauhaus, represents the connection between the Green Deal and our homes, the spaces we inhabit and live in, enriching them with a cultural and creative dimension. The initiative translates into a platform for connecting science and technology, art and community to make tomorrow’s living spaces more sustainable, beautiful, affordable and accessible. In this context we have decided to define, together with the citizenry, a set of inspiring principles in which our City recognizes itself and which will guide NEB interventions in the coming years,” says Councillor for Ecological Transition and Innovation Chiara Foglietta.
