Tomorrow, November 15, 2023 from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., at Cascina Falchera, the City of Torino and Consorzio Kairòs will present to the citizens the Manifesto of the New European Bauhaus and the developments of the European project DESIRE, with the presence of Chiara Foglietta, Councillor of the City of Torino for Ecological and Digital Transition, Innovation, Environment, Mobility and Transport and the greetings of Daniele Caccherano, President of Consorzio Kairos Torino. The moderation and introduction to the New European Bauhaus Manifesto will be by Elena Miglietti, journalist and lecturer at the Holden School.
The Manifesto was born as the first form of local expression of the inspiring principles of the initiative “New European Bauhaus: Inclusion, Sustainability and Beauty” and was elaborated thanks to a series of meetings, held within the Open Incet Policy Lab, which involved the promoters, some members of civil society and the third sector.
DESIRE The Irresistible Circular Society is the European project that experiments with the creation of sustainable, attractive and inclusive urban spaces, respecting the planet’s limited resources, recycling materials and interacting with citizens, artists, urban planners, entrepreneurs, builders, knowledge institutions and local organisations.
The meeting will also include an open debate with stakeholders and citizens, followed by the presentation of the DESIRE project there will be a moment dedicated to the return of the results of the Water Saving Camp, curated by NÉE 100% natural storytelling.
