Visiting Turin on October 12 and 13 were Mary Dellenbaugh-Losse, the Lead Expert and Virginie Picard Squizzato, Lead Partner of the FEMACT-Cities project of the URBACT IV program.The objective of the meeting was to raise awareness of the City of Turin’s policies, strategies and initiatives on gender equality issues.
After an initial institutional meeting with the Councillor for Rights and Equal Opportunities, Jacopo Rosatelli, they were accompanied to the discovery of significant places in the City of Turin in terms of empowerment and gener quality in addition to targeted meetings with local Stakeholders.
On this occasion, the first Urbact Local Group was also held with the aim of defining the specific objectives and actions of the project at the local level for the next two years.
