The City of Torino, in cooperation with the Department of Management ‘Valter Cantino’ of the University of Torino, organises on Tuesday 3 December at 2.30 p.m. at the Conference Room of the Polo del ‘900 in Corso Valdocco 4/A in Torino the event entitled “Torino NEB Conference”, organised within the framework of the Interreg Europe NEBA project.
During the meeting, which will be attended by international guests ready to present the most advanced European strategies on New European Bauhaus (NEB), concrete case studies and practical tools for applying NEB principles in urban contexts will be explored.
It will be possible to interact with Danish experts who took part in one of the 5 European funded NEB pilot projects. Together we will discuss strategic issues such as:
- NEB Economy
- NEB Big Buyers Community
- Temporary use
The event, which will be held in English, will also be an opportunity to reflect on the history of Turin’s urban transformation, highlighting how the city has been a model of avant-garde and experimentation.
