The webinar “The impact of micro-mobility on road safety through the TInnGO project and the Roadsafe Platform” was held in September, organised jointly by the Municipality of Turin and the Polytechnic of Turin between the activities of the Italian hub of TInnGO.
The event was an opportunity to present the TInnGO project and some of the analyses conducted on a set of data that collect shared data on micro-mobility in Turin. In addition, invited stakeholders have had the opportunity to investigate innovative ways of exploiting this type of intelligent mobility data to improve the mobility offer for various users.
Angela Carboni and Andrea Chicco of the TInnGO Italian Hub presented the project and the analysis conducted on e-scooters shared collected thanks to the collaboration between the Polytechnic and the City. AIRCONNECT Mobility, an innovative company in the sector, then presented SAFEROAD, an artificial intelligence platform based on the analysis of IOT data from vehicles connected to it that allows traffic monitoring, with a particular focus on safety, in the course of experimentation in the framework of Torino City Lab.
